I Love You, You Love Me!!!

The day after Valentine's Day we went to meet Barney with Gran!  I didn't tell you where we were going until after lunch because I wanted you to nap on the way and then I wanted you to eat lunch before we got to the arena!  Well, you did neither!  I think you could probably tell how excited Gran and I were that you knew something was going on!  This was one of my favorite pictures from the day that just showed the excitement in your eyes!  I probably took 200 pictures during that two hours.  It was so much fun to see you so excited and soooo happy to meet the big purple dinosaur!!!

Before we went to the Barney concert, we met Mrs. Julia, Mr. Layne and Mattie at The Grill for lunch!  I know it looks like you and Mattie were great friends in this picture, but Mattie was so upset with you when we got there because you threw a fit for her toys and her Mama made her share.  You stayed in trouble while we were at the restaurant for disobeying and throwing fits!  Finally, after lunch Gran and I told you where we were going!  You got so excited and you and Mattie both were running out of the restaurant!!!

Once we got in the car, I gave you a "Barney" shirt and you were thrilled!  I think you would have been happy to go home at that point!  You were so happy with your Barney shirt!!!

We then went to the arena and were about an hour early!  Needless to say, we were the first ones there and the first ones in line!  Notice the pictures below.  You were trying to open all the doors and you, Gran and I are first in line to get in the arena!!!

Once we got inside, we got in line for the Dino Seats!  We got to go backstage and meet Barney!  This was so much fun and definitely a highlight of your life thus far! :)  You gave Gran a big kiss for our special Barney tickets!!!  Thanks so much Gran!!!

I love this picture of you after you met Barney!  Your feet barely touched the ground before or during the show because you were so excited!!!

MEETING BARNEY, finally!!!  We were first in line to meet Barney too!  There were maybe about twenty kids that had Dino Seats and got to meet Barney, so thank goodness we were first in line.  I don't think you would have waited your turn very well!  Once the doors opened and Barney walked in, you ran and jumped into his arms!!!  Love the big hugs and even kisses you gave him!
After meeting Barney, you got to get a souvenir.  You picked out a Barney wand that lights up!  And of course we had to get popcorn and lemonade!!!  Then we went to find our seats on the FIRST row to get ready for Barney's Birthday Bash!!!

Before the show started, there were plenty of opportunities for photos!!!  You did keep getting told by the security guard not to go past a certain line on the floor!  You would do so well staying behind the line and then you would get so excited and forget about that line and run right up to the stage!

After the show started, you were the star of the big screen for a few seconds!  That is you in that big circle!!!  I took lots of pictures of you enjoying the show!  You danced and danced and danced!!!

I think your favorite thing about the show were the dressed up monkeys!!!  You kept asking Gran and I for more when they went off the stage!  You would say "OOH, OOH, AAH, AAH" and then sign more!!!  Here is a picture of you with the monkeys and then one of you saying "OOH, OOH!"

I LOVE that happy smile!  Thank you Gran for such a FUN day!  We love you!!!
