Zoo Day with Millie Kate and Hank

 We went to the zoo the first day that the weather was warm enough!  And in good ole Mississippi that just happened to be in January!!!  Ea, Hank and Mk joined us and everybody enjoyed it.  It was MK's first time to go to the zoo and I think she loved it just as much as you and Hank!  We had to begin documenting our day with a picture before we even go inside the gates!!!

First stop was the giraffes!  Not one of the favorites so we didn't visit with these long necked creatures too long!

Next up were the gorillas!  Definitely one of your favorites!!!  Special Agent Oso is still your favorite friend that has to go everywhere with you and usually since you are so busy with your hands getting into stuff, he stays in your mouth!  You had to put him in your mouth here so you could hold on to climb up the fence so you could get a really good look at the gorillas!

Next picture spot is the lovely gazebo.  You and Hank actually were happy to climb on the bench and take a picture this time.  Usually, I can only get a picture of the back of your head so I was so happy to actually get a picture of both of you looking!!!  After the gazebo, we went to see more monkeys, birds, deer, flamingos and snakes!  And of course the otters!!!

Then it was time for the CAROUSEL!  This is definitely your favorite thing to do at the zoo and I think the only reason you really get excited when I tell you we are going!

You loved that MK rode on the horse with you!  And by her sweet smiling face, I think she loved it too!!!

 Of course, we had to stop by the elephant slide on the way out!  I get this same picture of you at the end of the slide everytime we go to the zoo.  Love to look back at all of them and see how you are changing!!!

Our trip to the zoo would not be complete without the fun train ride!  Great way to end our beautiful day at the zoo!!!
